LOCAL SHOPS

On the main street in Kingussie there is a Co-Op and also Costcutters. We prefer the Costcutter (Murchies) especially for fruit and vegetables.

There is a good butchers on King Street called George Gow Butchers. They do a great steak pie!

There are good golf courses in Kingussie; (01540662066) Newtonmore; (01540673878), Boat of Garten;(01479831282), all of which allow non-members to play. Contact the individual courses for information about green fees.

HORSE-RIDING

There is horse riding available at Alvie Stables (07831495397) and at Newtonmore Riding Centre, Biallid Farm (01540670000).
